It's Time to Meet the Muppets!

Well, this weekend we celebrated this little girl and the three years she has been in our life! 

Cute little thing..

On Friday we opened a few presents cause.....well, we just couldn't wait! She is loving being a doctor! Wonder if that means she will continue on this path? haha..

On Saturday we set a few decorations up...She LOVED all of her balloons! 

The biggest surprise of all was that the Muppets were going to make an appearance! haha. We had so much fun!!

We opened presents and one of her gifts was a stuffed Kermit! We asked her to love Kermit and she ran to her JimPa! So sweet!

 Oh and we cannot forget about sweet smiley Charlotte!! Oh my gracious! I could eat her up!!!

 Another gift from Big Aunt Amy! She loved it!

Sweet girl, you have brought so much joy to this family! We could not imagine life without you! We love you and are so thankful for these three fabulous years!! :)

8 months later and it might just be time to go back to St. Thomas....

Lazy days, beautiful beaches, good food, dressing up, pool time, first week alone with my husband. Yes...time to go back now! :)

Sights of Puerto Rico

We recently got back from a week long trip to Puerto Rico with Brett's family. It was a beautiful week full of sun rises, sunsets, waterfalls, beaches, hikes and family. 

 The water was oh so cold but oh so fun! :)

Beautiful right? Raise your hand if sometimes you need a vacation after the vacation? :)

He and she had the busiest month.

He was busy with basketball practices

And is thankful to have a break in July.

She threw a shower to honor her sister and the upcoming arrival of sweet Lucy Myer!

They spent a week at the beach with her family

She was in a dear friends wedding!

They spent a week in Puerto Rico with his family

And are finishing up a vacation spending time in Tampa with more of her family

They are hoping for a more relaxing July

And are really wishing the summer would sloowwwwww downnnnn! :)

The Weekend

The past weeks have been both busy and relaxing. Currently I am in Puerto Rico with my husband and his family so I will not be posting until I get back.

I did however want to give a huge congratulations to two dear friends who tied the knot this weekend! Sadly, the camera was packed away for vacation but I was blessed to be a small part of this special day! Unfortunately, all I have are a few phone photos.....

I Love Lucy!

Amy wanted me to take some pictures of she and Pudge to document this time in their life. We started a bit early and I think they turned out great! 

 I mean really...she should be pregnant all the time. Her little bump suits her!

Dear Daddy, 

Thank you for always working so hard. Thank you for always tucking us in at night and telling us a "dirty" story about the horse falling into the mud and a "clean" one about him getting a bath! Thank you for calling your "cinnamon roll girls" on Sunday mornings. Thank you for being the most caring father. Thank you for loving mom so well. Thank you for constantly having a project and showing us the importance of hard work. Thank you for telling us "one foot in front of the other!" Thank you for the constant reminder from early on that "the first shall be last and the last shall be first." Thank you for being a good example for Brett to see. Thank you for the 6 AM math sessions. Thank you for all of the many many opportunities you gave us. Thank you for encouraging me in everything that I ever did. Thank you for showing me that the most important thing in this life is my relationship with God. Thank you for showing me how to be a giver and not a taker. Thank you for being so generous. Thank you for praying with us and reading God's Word with us. Thank you for walking me down the aisle and giving me away almost 8 months ago! Thank you for being there. Thank you for being one of the greatest role models in my life.
